Who am I and why the heck am I here? My name is Ana Isabel Feliciano-Alvarez. Yes, I know that is a long-ass name but I say it proudly. My name says a lot about who I am and what drives me: Ana - my paternal grandmother My abuela Ana had twelve children. TWELVE!  Not only did she give birth to twelve children but she also endured one of the greatest of pains and that was having to bury 3 of them. As a parent, you expect to die first. Your children are not supposed to pass before you do. That's just not how any of this is supposed to work! She was a strong and proud woman who had the heartiest of laughs. She passed away December 23rd. The worst Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) we ever experienced. I am proud to carry her name!
